Today we arrived at Lebanon Cedar State Park campsite nearby Nashville. We had brilliant rides the last days and almost every possible weather conditions, starting with sun moving to rain and today a few cm of snow and temperatures between 16° and 0.5° Celsius.
We started in the Appalachian Mountains with the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway. A fabulous road on the ridge of the mountain with great views. We camped in the woods nearby Highlands and continued the day after towards Smoky Mountains and camped in Hot Springs. From there we continued our road towards the Tail of the Dragon. We stayed at the Deals Gap, just in time for a room because the campground was still closed. We were the only (and first?) customers of the season. We started to ride the Dragon in the snow for 11miles and 318 curves (we missed the hot breath of the Dragon, 0.5° C, during the ride). Via some scenic country roads we arrived at today's campsite.
