In London we’ve found our best friends, Jaak and Mieke back at the Air Canada cargo. We were happy to see eachother again in a safe and good shape! We didn’t have the courage to drive already home and were keen to meet again with Lisa and Jason, so we stayed 2 nights at a B&B in Dorking. We took the opportunity to discover the beautiful Sussex, a historic county in South East England. In the evening we’ve met the lovely couple, Lisa Morris and Jason Spafford, to talk about their amazing travelling experiences in South and North America. It was an evening full of positive energy and inspiration for the next journey of which you will certainly learn more in the upcoming months.
On Wednesday afternoon we finally arrived in Belgium. First, we had a quick stop at BMW Peter D’Haese where we were welcomed with a ‘lekkere koffie’ (nice coffee) and when we arrived home, we were surprised by nice drawings of Bas & Ella (nephew & niece) to welcome us back home.
To be honest, it feels strange to arrive at your own place, which doesn’t feel the same anymore as before…
But before we say goodbye and au revoir to all of you, we would like to say some special thanks to all the friends we’ve met along our journey, because without them it would have never been the same!
