Day 196

The last 4 days we’ve driven the Gaspésie peninsula of Québec. It was a magnificent curvy road alongside the sea shore and all the small harbors and cozy towns. It felt like driving in Normandie and Bretagne in France, even the Aiguille Percé was present. By our surprise we also visited a look-a-like of a Toscany winery, however it was the most northern winery in Gaspésie. We got the opportunity to buy local food and David was happy to cook all ingredients into a fantastic evening meals. Much better than diner at a restaurant! On Sunday we entered New Brunswick and again a new timezone. In fact, we didn’t see any announcement on the province change, but all announcements were again in English and French so we knew we left Québec 😊. Today we drove over the Confederation Bridge, 13kms long, to visit Prince Edward Island. The upcoming days we will discover the Island and some of the distilleries.
